The central valley is the center of all economic, cultural and tourist life in Costa Rica
When traveling to Costa Rica, you should pay attention to the Central Valley and plan a few days for your stay. It doesn't necessarily have to be San José where you spend your time. The western suburbs of San José, such as Escazú and Santa Ana, are beautifully nestled in green mountains and offer excellent infrastructure and first-class transport connections to the capital.
This area is the ideal starting point to begin a trip through Costa Rica. Centrally located, with good connections to the airport and all destinations close to the capital San José. Nevertheless, you are outside in the countryside, a little away from the everyday hustle and bustle of the capital.
