Costa Rica, with its just over 50,000 square kilometers, seems tiny at first glance, but this is deceptive. Costa Rica hides an innumerable variety of natural spectacles and small wonders in this small area, so that you can really explore the country on an extended nature adventure trip. Our eight-day round trip plus days at the beach combines originally preserved and protected nature with the most exciting activities, accommodation and gourmet gastronomy.
Great hotels and challenging tours: with us, adventure and nature are not neglected - relaxation can also take place while experiencing it, a real adventure and physical exertion are basically the ticket to a well-deserved “candle-light dinner” in a natural paradise.

The means of transport are varied: from private, air-conditioned minibuses, to jeeps, to rafting rafts - nothing is left out on this round trip. On this tour you don't have to drive yourself (but of course you're welcome to), but you'll be taken from A to B. Everything is organized. Guides are present on all tours, transfers usually take place without a guide.
Costa Rica is a country home to many remote and hidden rarities. That's why it's worth going off the beaten track. This trip takes you through (partly unexplored) highlights of natural wonders in a route that has been thoroughly developed with a lot of experience in 10 days. We use high-quality accommodation, guarantee imaginative gastronomy and the greatest possible comfort. Exclusive transfers and tours are part of this tour through Costa Rica, and the unusual route is really fantastic. Let yourself be pampered and get to know Costa Rica from its most beautiful side. After the 10 day tour, 4 days of relaxation on one of the most beautiful beaches on the continent are planned. These can of course be extended as desired.

1 day (-, -, -):
Arrival at San Jose airport. Private pickup, transfer to Hotel Alta in Santa Ana. Acclimatization and relaxation in the tropical garden with hummingbirds - depending on the time of arrival there is time to get to know the capital of Costa Rica, San José. In the evening there is a delicious á la carte dinner - sometimes there is stylish live music here.
2nd day (B, L, -)
Full breakfast at the hotel, start of the private tour to the nearby highlights in the central valley: the unique Poás volcano, the la Paz waterfalls and the Doka coffee plantation. Typical lunch with a magnificent view.
3rd day (B, M, D):
This is an adventurous experience that you won't soon forget. The Rio Pacuare is a beautiful whitewater river in central Costa Rica. The river rises in the "Cordillera de Talamanca" and after 110 km flows into the Caribbean near Parismina. The Pacuare is ideal for starting an exciting rafting tour. But after 8 km of rafting you come to the spectacular jungle camp, the Pacuare Lodge. Everything is just the finest in the midst of stunning nature. Delicious meals included.
4th day (B, M, D)
Today the Rio Pacuare shows its somewhat wilder side. Rapids up to difficulty level IV must be mastered. The highly trained guides and the additional safety measures ease the tension a little and turn this adventure into the best memories. If you like, there is a CD with the best photos of the tour included. In the afternoon transfer to the rainforest in the Caribbean basin to Tortuguero to the Tortuga Lodge & Garden.
5th day (B, M, D)
The day is dedicated to observing animals in the rainforest of the national park. A private safari through the canals, then by canoe, accompanied by one of our very experienced guides. It's unbelievable what you can see from this perspective.
During the turtle season from the end of June to September you can watch the large leatherback turtles spawning at night. Overnight at Tortuga Lodge & Garden.
6th day (B, -, -)
Flight with a small plane to la Fortuna.
The Hotel Arenal Kioro Suites & Spa is located in the middle of rich nature, with a fantastic view of the active Arenal volcano. The afternoon is at leisure, at the pool or in the complex's gourmet restaurant.
7th day (B, -, -)
This will be a special day. The pristine Rio Peñas Blancas is fed by several small streams from the cloud forest surrounding Monteverde and is surrounded by lush rainforest, volcanic hot springs, waterfalls and forested gorges up to 200m high - a picturesque adventure.
The guided private tour starts in the morning at the hotel. You travel on a raft with a guide on calm water through the evergreen rainforest. Wildlife observation is a priority. The guide's practiced eye is very important, as the sloth adapts too well to its surroundings. And it lives up to its name - it doesn't move enough, so you don't normally see this animal.
The afternoon is free. Overnight stay at Hotel Arenal Kioro Suites & Spa.
8th day (B, -, -)
Transfer to Rio Celeste - just a short ride of just under 90 minutes in a comfortable van.
The sky-blue river in Tenorio National Park is considered a natural wonder for good reason. You stay in the dignified Hotel Hideaway and start a guided tour of the national park from there.
9th day (B, -, -)
Now things are getting really exciting again. Just a short drive in a private van takes you to the spectacular resort on the Rio Perdido. The resort offers everything an action-packed day demands: this adventure paradise lies in the middle of two impressive canyons, the cold Rio Blanco and the hot Rio Perdido. The hotel offers everything the discerning guest could wish for - spacious bungalows with daring architecture integrated into nature.
There are many natural attractions, all of which are part of the hotel. The river is suitable for tubing and the tour is offered daily. Be careful: not everyone likes it. You can explore the entire area by mountain bike, and many hiking trails are ideal for trekking. A canopy route gets your emotions pumping and can be perfectly combined with the hikes.
Wellness offers, SPA, massages and hot baths are possible in the in-house hot springs.

Now it's off to the Pacific. Peace and relaxation on a dream beach. Optional tour options. Tamarindo is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica - and rightly so.
The Hotel Capitán Suizo attracts with a refreshing pool, tropical garden and is located directly on the most beautiful beach in Costa Rica. Simply enjoy.
A highlight from Tamarindo is a spectacular gyrocopter flight along the west coast of the Nicoya Peninsula. It's crazy what you can see from such a different perspective.

Depending on the time of your international flight, you will be picked up in Tamarindo in good time and taken to the airport
