The Tami Lodge in Providencia at just over 1600 m above sea level has to be seen as an overall concept. You visit an authentic community that lives in the purest air in the middle of the greenest nature. Surrounded by a ton of rivers, streams and waterfalls with a myriad of ways to experience the cloud forest.
We like to include a stay in Providencia on a trip that leads to the south and take our guests into an exciting environment that promises a real experience - far away from the normal tourist routes - well, not that far away. A 4-day walk takes you to the Pacific coast to the famous tourist town of Manuel Antonio - so you are only 60 km away from the crowds. Still in another world. One of the attractions of the location of the place is the attractive bird life. And the area is particularly known for the frequent sightings of the quetzal - no wonder, since the nature reserve around Providencia borders directly on the “Los Quetzales” national park.
The Tami Eco Lodge lives up to the name Eco. There are 12 living tents spread out on platforms, which are comfortably furnished - all with their own bathroom. Bathrooms, which, like the private terraces with hammocks, offer an incredible view over the entire valley. Electricity is generated with sunlight and is therefore only available to a limited extent. Internet is only available in the associated restaurant, 200 m away.
