Bambuda Lodge is a beautiful, ecological jungle lodge and hostel, right by the sea on Isla Solarte with great views, a large pool, bar and restaurant, from which a 50 m water slide leads down to the sea.

Hiking trails lead from the lodge through the almost 6 hectares of private primary rainforest and you have the opportunity to hike on a marked hiking trail to Hospital Point in just under an hour. Hospital Point is considered one of the best snorkeling spots in the area.

If you don't want to go hiking: there is a great coral reef right in front of the lodge. You can get diving goggles and snorkeling equipment at the lodge.

The lodge has 16 private rooms for 2 people each, with 2 more under construction. Rooms with private bathrooms start at $69 a night, breakfast is extra.

There are also rooms with shared bathrooms and 2 large dormitories for 11 people each.

You can have a delicious meal in the evening in the very good restaurant with vegetarian options.

There is a table tennis table available, kayaks, canoes and stand-up paddle boards are available for rent for $4 an hour. Numerous, good tour offers, directly from the lodge, children are only accepted from the age of 16, highly recommended.
