The Rio Sarapiqui offers an unforgettable yet peaceful and family-friendly rafting experience through some of Costa Rica's most exciting landscapes. Early in the morning we will pick you up from your hotel and drive you through the Braulio Carrillo National Park to the rafting starting point.
The relatively harmless course of the river is ideal for rafting beginners and those who want to enjoy nature from a boat. Ornithologists also get their money's worth.
In the rainforest, life does not take place on the ground, but high up, in the dense, green treetops of the jungle giants. In English, the treetops are called “ canopy ” and this is the name under which this hobby has become established.
Hanging on a wire rope, you slide through the jungle - from tree to tree, from platform to platform. It's a lot of fun. You will discover the dense jungle in a new light - from the position of the monkeys and birds.
Lunch will be a picnic on an idyllic river bank.
