Oscar and his family's project is one of the very special adventures you can experience in CR. Paired with a good ambience, a little luxury, good food and lots and lots of nature. The Maquenque Lodge is located in a private reserve of over 5 hectares, largely protected virgin forest, partly reforested land.

A special adventure that you can experience here is accommodation in tree houses - if desired. These are real tree houses that currently float 20-25 meters above the jungle floor, a massive height in the middle of selected jungle giants. The experience is incredible, you get a completely different view of the tropical rainforest.

The normal rooms all have a terrace facing the lagoon and with a view of the surrounding, magnificent nature. Of course, you have access to the nature reserve at any time and can easily explore nature on self-guided tours. But a guided tour is also included in the price, as is the use of the canoes in the lagoons.

The hotel's restaurant is located directly on the lagoon, which is teeming with animals. Among other things, you can find crocodiles, lagartos, caimans, fish and countless birds here. By staying at Maquenque Lodge you support many nature projects, as well as various institutions that help children from poorer families find their way in life.
