La Tigra Rainforest Lodge - nature conservation and a very special project! The “La tigra Rainforest Lodge” is located near the Bosque eterno de los niños, on the way between San José and la Fortuna de San Carlos, 100 km from Santa Ana - in the deep, green forest.

The 10 rustic but beautifully furnished living tents are located on platforms in the canopy of the rainforest - a spectacular view of the densely vegetated valley is guaranteed.

The “Canta Ranas” restaurant serves good, typical food, and 2 km of self-guided hiking trails lead through dense jungle. Tours are offered daily, and the night tour is particularly interesting. Fallen wood and planted wood were used to build the lodge in order to keep the impact on nature low.

We like to use the lodge as an adventure highlight on our tours before or after our visit to la Fortuna.
