Yatama Ecolodge
Wildlife sanctuary in Costa Rica
perfect for adventurers and nature lovers
The Yatama Lodge with its own, direct access to the Braulio Carrillo National Park is an organic corridor in the middle of deep, green nature. The journey is extremely complicated, but the reward is even greater.
The animal world is varied. The bird life is stunning, reptiles can be seen at all times of the day and night and the abundance of plants is second to none.
Large wild cats are regularly spotted, at least their footprints - sometimes in the immediate vicinity of the accommodation. In some of the pictures here you can see recordings of the photo traps or wildlife cameras that a team from the university installed in the area around the lodge.
The lodge consists of simple wooden bungalows with bathrooms, spread between the main building and the national park. The package that Pedro offers here includes overnight accommodation, breakfast and dinner and an exciting tour (or the night tour). Minimum stay is 2 nights.
By staying overnight here you support this unique project, experience nature in the front row and help Don Pedro continue his environmental protection.
