This great tourl goes into the high mountains of the Andes, and into the lost world of Tepuys in the triangle of Venezuela, Guyana and Brazil.
First Day: Maiquetia (Caracas) (-, -, -)
Reception at the airport in Caracas, transfer to a hotel near the airport
Second Day: Caracas - Mérida - Paragliding (B, -, -)
Early in the morning we take a plane to El Vigia, then continue with a private transport to Tabay, in a nice posada near the Andean city of Mérida.
In the afternoon we go to "Tierra Negra", and take a paraglider – tandem. Depending on wind conditions, you glide along with an experienced driver for 20 to 40 minutes in the air. The start is at 1600 meters high. A couple of steps, and the you're up. Over 300 days a year, the wind blows gently from the valley up the canyon, creating an ideal sliding weather. The thermals allow sometimes that the landing place, is the same as the departure one. The journey and the scenery of the area are beautiful.

3rd Day: Mérida, Canyoning (B, L, -)
Currently, Canyoning is the number one adrenaline sport in the Andes: you follow a river course, and abseiling through rapids and waterfalls (from up to 35 meters high). After the action comes the fun part: sliding down natural slides on water basins, surrounded by cloud forest of giant ferns, bromeliads and vines. For photographs, you have to will need a waterproof camera.
4th Day: Pico Humboldt Trek (B, L, D)
The Pico Humboldt is, with 4942 meters high, the second highest mountain in Venezuela, a glacier in the tropics. The climb requires great stamina, and physical condition, also alpine experience is highly recommended. We start early in the morning, and continue to "la Mucuy" in the national park "Sierra Nevada". The march starts at an altitude of 2000 meters, which is about 5-hour hike, through subtropical cloud forests. At 3100 meters we reach the first-stage goal: "Laguna Coromoto". Night camp, and a well-earned dinner, freshly prepared.
